back to nature

I recently added some works at Carbonmade's Talent Pool. I got an email informing me that they liked my works and my upper lip fur obsession. ha! This means they featured me on their favorite examples page (http://carbonmade.com/examples) and showcased my site on their social media pages.

Thanks Carbonmade!

We (Ang INK) also held a short exhibit for FPE  for their 21st Anniversary, tackling on their conservation projects all over the Philippines. My theme was Ligawasan Marsh in Mindanao and I chose to illustrate the Philippine Crocodile, for the reason that I was having some kind of fascination with these magnificent reptiles. Which probably brought about by the capture of  Lolong a couple of years ago. Unfortunately Lolong, the longest crocodile in captivity is already dead.

I also joined Surving Sagada contest last March and this is my Adventure Time inspired entry.
Having experienced Sagada last year, I found out that most of your time there will be spent on adventures and body aches. Got a chance to come back again before the summer ends.

scrap attack!

I work mostly with paper and it makes me feel guilty every time I throw my trash,
so I make it a point to keep my scraps and for the longest time I have been making these
"Scrap Art."  Last year I was able to sell (cheaply) a lot of them at Art in the Park.
For the new batch I made, I was able to re-use a sketch pad a friend of mine gave me,
it was so bulky that I was never able to really used it for sketching.
I'm glad I found another way to use it.

more of them here.

Makkuro Kurosuke

Because there's too much pom poms on my Pinterest, I've wanted
to make one. This is my first attempt making yarn pom poms.
It took me three tries to get it right and they ended up as dust bunnies
which is what they are going to be eventually, dusty.

I recently made a new blog for my cutting mat.The Cutting Mat
Holiday season makes me want to sleep all day, so here's Totoro at gunpoint
by a toy soldier i got from Ang INK Christmas party.
