I never got around blogging about these Muchacho Dolls, but you can find all of them on my Behance site. I also made a Muchacho Activity Zine where you can practice your tattoo drawing skills.
This little guy here is Jhuver Macalaglag III.

I had the opportunity to create a 2 feet Muchacho Doll for Steven Co. He was nice and waited patiently for me to finished this art doll.  I don't have the actual number of hours but more or less I made them for 4 months. You can also read his blog post about Gaston here:  CLICK ME! :p

click photo to check out his full body tattoos.
It was a wonderful experience, needle pricked fingers included.
Looking forward creating more and maybe even bigger dolls in the near future.
Thanks! :)

Biyahe ng mga Ibong Dayo/ The Flight of Migratory Birds
written by:Dr. Luis Gatmaitan published by OMF Lit. for Hiyas

This one deals with migratory birds in Candaba and
humans going to another country to work for a living.

Take care everyone, wherever you are!

Illustrations I did for a children's book "Kissing Lips" written by: Marites Rogado for Lampara House.
The story is narrated by a paper kissing lips origami, about Ada the young girl who just learned to make them and how she becomes witness to a misunderstanding between her mama and papa who end up not speaking to each other.
This is how you make Kissing Lips Origami.

back to nature

I recently added some works at Carbonmade's Talent Pool. I got an email informing me that they liked my works and my upper lip fur obsession. ha! This means they featured me on their favorite examples page ( and showcased my site on their social media pages.

Thanks Carbonmade!

We (Ang INK) also held a short exhibit for FPE  for their 21st Anniversary, tackling on their conservation projects all over the Philippines. My theme was Ligawasan Marsh in Mindanao and I chose to illustrate the Philippine Crocodile, for the reason that I was having some kind of fascination with these magnificent reptiles. Which probably brought about by the capture of  Lolong a couple of years ago. Unfortunately Lolong, the longest crocodile in captivity is already dead.

I also joined Surving Sagada contest last March and this is my Adventure Time inspired entry.
Having experienced Sagada last year, I found out that most of your time there will be spent on adventures and body aches. Got a chance to come back again before the summer ends.
